ARTIST STATEMENT/BIO:

Having lived in Alexandria most of my life, the people and landscapes of Louisiana are among my favorite subjects.

I started painting while living in Nebraska in 1995 and frequently used photography as a method of capturing images for painting. Recently I've utilized photography as my primary medium. I am endlessly inspired and encouraged by my family and friends.

I'm a member of the Contemporary Artist's Guild of Alexandria, New Orleans Photo Alliance, and ArtWanted.com. I volunteer for Central Louisiana Arts and Healthcare.
